Christmas is a massively important time of year for me; spending time with my friends and family who would otherwise be working.

It's easy to forget when you're an internet marketer that we can pick and choose the hours we work and that sometimes those closest to us don't have the same freedom.

For me this is what internet marketing is all about, but sadly a lot of people look at internet income opportunities as a way to 'get rich' but rich and wealthy mean many things.

Being rich and wealthy means having the time to be with the people you care about, having freedom to do what you want when you want, it's the all these things that make you a rich and wealthy, money is just a means to those things.

The internet and the opportunity it brings is about creating a better life, with more time, more freedom and more opportunities to do the things you want to do with the people you love.

Make sure your focus is on being wealthy with the important things in your life and not just to have lot's of money. Whatever you decide, make sure it's for the right reasons and have the best Christmas ever.

Pretty simple, huh. What you think about, you bring about. You have the power to change your life by changing what you think about.

I've never seen myself as someone who struggles to get by in life, I see myself being very wealthy, healthy, happy and with lots of time freedom.

Even when I didn't have those things, my dominant thoughts were that I did and I was just waiting for the Universe to catch up to my thoughts.

If I just sat around doing nothing it felt wrong because it didn't match my thoughts, wealthy people don't do nothing. When your belief is strong, so will your action be.

When your belief is strong, not taking action towards that belief feels wrong because it won't take you closer to what you see and in your head; it doesn't match your dream or vision.

Edison didn't just think, "I'm going to record sound" and then sit around waiting for it to happen. He made it happen because he believed so strongly by taking action on his thoughts.

So to conclude, if you want something you have to believe you have it, you've just gotta go out there and get it!

My secret was two days of trial and error and many Google searches. It's actually really simple, unless you follow the instructions given by some of the websites I tried.

As a kid growing up in the technology age, we never had to read instructions to get the old Video Recorder set up for our parents, I think that's why I couldn't do it, instructions are for our parents?!

It was far easier to just go for it and see what happened, well what happened was I figured it out.

I don't understand the code, I just know it works. There are "Instructions" on the site on how to set it up for other blogs like Wordpress and websites too, but you may find just copy and pasting the code into your HTML message editor works best.

The Importance Of Branding YOU

I just watched a very informative video about personal branding and it inspired me to write this post for you, because it is without doubt one of the most important and overlooked aspects of online marketing.

Hardly anyone is doing this but I'm about to show you why it's so effective.

Most people whether online or offline are taught to get traffic, without it no one sees your offer so it makes sense right?

Then they need to turn that traffic into leads that they can market because most people won't buy at the first time of asking so again makes perfect sense.

So when they have those leads, they put their product in front of them and they may even communicate the benefits with a series of emails or letters. And that's fine, it's good actually and it does work. However, that's not the way I do it and I'll show you why...

Instead of building a list and marketing products to your list like most people...

Market YOU Instead Of Your Product -

You'll Have Prospects Asking To Work With You

It's far better to market YOU and what you can offer because we buy of people we know and trust. So building a relationship with your prospects first will give you better results.

You do that by providing them with value, or by sending them a personal video or email about something you did. Let them get to know you and what YOU offer (not your product).

This has another added bonus, because it doesn't matter what the product is as long as it's a quality product. If for some reason your current product becomes unavailable you can just replace it with another quality product and your prospects will still buy from you.

On the other hand if you're not building relationships and your product that was selling well becomes unavailable, you'll have to start again.

Building a relationship and trust with your prospect will help you convert more prospects but there's one more, bigger and more powerful thing this will do for you and in my opinion this makes it a no brainer.

Instead of having to pitch your product to you prospects they'll be emailing you telling you their ready to sign up or asking for a call back because they have a couple of questions before they sign up.

They'll be ready and eager to join YOU.

What's The Best Way To Make Money Online?

First let's look at some of the methods out there and why you’ll love Big Ticket...

• Gambling
- Roulette Systems
- Poker
• Surveys
• Affiliate Sales
• Big Ticket

Before I settled onto my main income stream I researched every opportunity I could think of, the most exciting for me was the Roulette System, I first discovered this system while playing roulette online myself back in college. It seems very feasible but in reality you'll always end up losing.

At first I won a couple of hundred pounds but I could never win consistently and ended up losing a couple of hundred. The reason is that there's a maximum bet and you will eventually hit it. You cannot win so be warned, these systems are scams.

Poker is something else I tried because I love the game, I could always win but only small amounts and not consistently, (if I played too much I'd end up losing). There's no doubt you can make money with poker but there's a very steep learning curve and if you're up against better players, you'll lose.

Surveys, I didn't personally try surveys, I don't know about you but the idea of filling out countless forms for a few bucks didn't excite me and certainly isn't the automated income I wanted. I've also heard a few horror stories that you sign up & pay a joining fee and then never hear from them again, so be careful if you go for surveys.

Selling Affiliate products on Clickbank or an equivalent can be a great way to make extra income, infact I do it. However, there's a lot to learn if you’re not already making money online. When I first started I bought several products to help me and the result was just 1 sale. The truth is you won't make real money as an affiliate without help and training (despite what the sales page tells you!)

The other thing with affiliate products is that you'll only earn between $20 & $50 per sale, so to make any real money that’s a lot of sales.

The Big Ticket sales is where the real money is, with income from $300 to $2000 per sale it doesn't take many sales to be making a lot of money. And you might be thinking, 'But it's harder to sell a $2000 product than a $20 product' But you'd be wrong, it's all about who you're selling it to.

What is a mentoring system and why is it so important?

First let me tell you what happened to me before I found a mentoring system. As you know I hopped from program to program trying to fill in the blanks that I kept coming across. I was spending a small fortune and making slow progress.

You Won't Make Money Online Without Your Own Internet Mentor

...Or, it'll be a lot tougher, cost you more and take you longer at least anyway. I wish I'd realised the importance of having your own mentor when I first started online instead of trying to go for it alone.

When I first started using the internet to make money, I bounced from one program to the next looking for the holy grail that would make me a ton of cash with practically no work or effort on my part, and thanks to the hype, I believed I could do it in just a few days.

Well after about 2 months of trying these programs I realised that there isn't anything out there that allows you to make a ton of cash without putting in the work first. I wouldn't say that those programs were scams, they were on the most part very good quality, but they sold their products on hype and false promises. This leads to the wrong people buying the product and then not making a success of it.

What do I mean by the wrong person I hear you ask. Well if the sales page is claiming you'll make $10,000 a month and you can do it in only a week with practically no effort; that will attract people who are looking for something that'll make them a fortune very quickly without having to do any work. Those people will give up if after 3 weeks they still haven't made any money, which if they're looking to do it effortlessly, they won't have!

When I was using those programs I found I lacked a skill and they didn't help me with it, so I moved on. Thankfully it only took me 2 months to see past the hype, which is when I changed what I was looking for. Previously I'd been searching for ways to make money online etc, but I decided to search for things like online marketing mentors and mentoring systems. I realised that all the big guys who had made it big talk about their mentor and how that's when they started to make serious money online.

This little shift in my thinking lead me to my mentor who also introduced me to an online business without hype or bull. It's amazing to think I'd have missed this and still be looking for the quick fix that doesn't exist if I hadn't had that little epiphany.

So if I have one golden nugget of advice to offer you, it is without doubt, to find a mentor. Find someone that you like and trust to mentor you, so do a bit of research on them, find out how they'll help you and find out their personal like and hobbies too. Get a feel for what this person is about and whether you could work with them.

Remember, to make money online there is effort required and you can do it if you're prepared for that. That's the key difference, accepting you'll have to put in some work before you'll start making money and actually taking the necessary action.

It's not hard to make money online it just requires that you put in the work at first, it's well worth it when 95% of your business can run on autopilot, remember though that there is some work to be done when you're first starting out like there is with any business.
