The Importance Of Branding YOU


I just watched a very informative video about personal branding and it inspired me to write this post for you, because it is without doubt one of the most important and overlooked aspects of online marketing.

Hardly anyone is doing this but I'm about to show you why it's so effective.

Most people whether online or offline are taught to get traffic, without it no one sees your offer so it makes sense right?

Then they need to turn that traffic into leads that they can market because most people won't buy at the first time of asking so again makes perfect sense.

So when they have those leads, they put their product in front of them and they may even communicate the benefits with a series of emails or letters. And that's fine, it's good actually and it does work. However, that's not the way I do it and I'll show you why...

Instead of building a list and marketing products to your list like most people...





Market YOU Instead Of Your Product -
You'll Have Prospects Asking To Work With You

It's far better to market YOU and what you can offer because we buy of people we know and trust. So building a relationship with your prospects first will give you better results.

You do that by providing them with value, or by sending them a personal video or email about something you did. Let them get to know you and what YOU offer (not your product).

This has another added bonus, because it doesn't matter what the product is as long as it's a quality product. If for some reason your current product becomes unavailable you can just replace it with another quality product and your prospects will still buy from you.

On the other hand if you're not building relationships and your product that was selling well becomes unavailable, you'll have to start again.

Building a relationship and trust with your prospect will help you convert more prospects but there's one more, bigger and more powerful thing this will do for you and in my opinion this makes it a no brainer.

Instead of having to pitch your product to you prospects they'll be emailing you telling you their ready to sign up or asking for a call back because they have a couple of questions before they sign up.

They'll be ready and eager to join YOU.
